Robin and Al Knost as test pilots STABBING SOUP....this IS AL KNOST'S GATO MODEL.. with its fast lines and great nose riding ability in the pocket.. its noticeably LOOSE and responsive.. suiting the long time teSting grounds of NEWPORT with quick punchy hollow beach breaks... thi$ board is great for all around conditions...from big to small peaks... fuller rail than the SIMPKINS SLIVER allowing it to be great for slower lesser steep faced waves as tested at sano for years with fantstic results making this winner from sano to trestles...... and wide point back as well as ROLL throughout the BOard MaKiNg and low nose rocker for speed down the line with forward TRIM ... with hips AFT and pig like outline on ACID bottle necking to small square tail block for QUICK RESPONSE on the tail for full BLOODED CUTBACKS INTO THE SOUP...made to be a more responsive and aggressive loggier gato model of the family and in the svrf and preforms great on the nose .. faster and more responsive than traditional nose riders fitting in the pocket better.. ridden with our death dagger greenough influenced flex fin for optimum performance.... fin size calibrated to board length and conditions..standard 9.5.... a fantastic board to start with if you are INTERESTED IN STARTNG YOUR TRIP WITH GATO HEROI UNDER YOUR FEET...
<- DALEY DRIVER... NARROW PIN with wide point center and more ear in the nose than most of our other family members... Standard dimentions 16.5 in the nose 13.5 in the taail... width 21.... from 9-3 to 9-7... this board was made to be an EVERYDAY board surfed from 2 to 2 feet + overhead with relatively PARALLEL outline through the center meEting to curve in nose and tail.. Ment for longer drawn out cutbacks and daily performance... with THE NarrOw Pin REsulting in performance off the TaIl and FULLER MORE eared nose to make up for long nose rides and execute long nose rides in THE POCkEt... with continual ROCKER lowEr in the NOSE standard for GATO but more overall rocker than most of our models makes this Board very loose and responsive and hungry for direction change and always being in the right spot on the wave..THE BOTTOM bontours are flat with roll in the shoulders and slight vee in the tail.. The LINES/ FOIL/PLANE SHAPE of the DALEY DRIVER make great for BEACHBREAK, POINTS, REEFS ANYTHING THAT BREAKS... __SMOOTH OPERATOR____ THE NAME SAYS IT ALL... with low rocker rolled bottom fine foil and pinched rail.... wider pin tail than its brother the DaLey driver and slightly more pulled in nose makes this board a bit more loggier than the DRIVer.. with wide POint back and slight rolled vee in the tail for easy SMOOTH TURNS... full rolled bottom.. operating in the pocket nicely.. with pinched rails slicing the FACE and holding a SMOOTH line with Classic ARCH BACK surf style.. reminiscent of PHIL EDWARDS.. this was modeled for dropped knee cutbacks and trim.. great nose RIDER with the wide point back and wider tail but smart bottom contour not giving up any performance FOR the operators PLEASURE... this boards top preformance is points and for more in-tuned riders great for the beachies as well..
